Mobile World Congress  Sony, LG, HTC and more New Releases
Mobile World Congress

Much attention has been given to the Mobile World Congress which commenced on the 24th of February. Many viewers are eagerly anticipating a release from their favorite smartphone manufacturers whether it be a new flagship device or a midrange device like the HTC Desire 8. As weve seen from live broadcast already the likes of LG, Samsung and more have announced some pretty decent speced smartphones.

LG started off when they announced their G3, boasting a 5.9 inch screen with the snapdragon 800 on board, 3GB of RAM and 13MP camera capable of prducing 120fps slow motion video capture. This is definitly something which catches our eyes. Although the handset is not released yet its in its way and is due for an arrival soon.

Sony released the all new Xperia Z2 with some striking features. The Z2 is equipped with the snapdragon 801 processor with running speeds of up to 2.3 GHZ along with 3GB RAM and Android KitKat 4.4 on board which is a real treat. Also, equipped with a 20.7 MP camera its capable of 4K UHD video recording, image stabilisation, slow-motion video capture and integrated AR and Vine functionality.

The physical aspects of a new tablet released by sony are a winner with a 6.4mm thin body with the standard waterproof casing from Sony makes it the thinnest waterproof model on the market. But we know that could all change over the MWC and its rapid releases.

HTC have surprised us though as they arent releasing their HTC One sequel the HTC One 2, HTC One Plus, HTC M8, etc. yet. This event will take place on the 25th March in New York and London. HTC are also going to release a new smartwatch for music and fitness purposes. Service provided by Google Now, it should be a pretty useable release since it will combine features such as average speed, walking or cycling, and points of interest. The smartwatch hopefully will tell us who's calling which would be a useful feature.

GSMA 2013

The Mobile World Congress is a fast paced event which will end soon. Make sure you keep up to date so you dont miss your much anticipated release.
